“The woods were in their winter sleep,
Rocked in that repose divine
On the wind-swept Apennine;
And dreaming, some of Autumn past,
And some of Spring approaching fast,
And some of April buds and showers,
And some of songs in July bowers,
And all of love; and so this tree.”
To a Lady, With a Guitar by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Love this pale scenery with the pin sharp silhouettes of the bare winder trees. Great light and mood, Martina!
Superbe gestion de la lumière ! Je découvre cette image en même temps que celle que tu as postée hier. La composition et le traitement y sont magistraux. Tu as dans le regard la palette de l’aquarelle, Martina.
With the beautiful use of a few words (the quote) so much can be said and with the careful composition of a simple scene so much can be communicated. A simplistic winter surrounding for the sharp contrast and details of that cluster of trees…very complimentary. I also like the set of tracks in the lower left hand corner. Someone has been here? Beautiful!
Such a nice soft light – love it
awesome white dominant, a beautiful place with these soft rolling hills, visibles for an half
This is almost like an Serengeti shot, but the winter version. Amazing, was it very cold?
A beautiful soft photo…
This is photography i love Martina!!
Well done and have a nice weekend 😉
Thanx for your nice comments today 😉
…wow…that’s about all I can say…wow…
The composition, light, and tones are all excellent. I love this image, Martina.
Sensitive and thoughtful combination of poetry and image … beautiful work throughout 🙂
This is photography very good,Martina
Great composition and color treatment.
Love the colors here, they really give this image a feeling of winter.
woww i’m not really good at taking scenery and landscape but it is not to say that i cannot appreciate one, specially done so beautifully here, love the treatment, the feel of un-clutter and yet, those trees in the foreground in black outstand and make the photo. Love this !
Beautiful cold tones.
Comment dire… juste du grand art !
Mes compliments, Martina.
A beautiful landscape. The light is awesome and I really like the delicate colour palette. So much depth in the picture on many levels. Great work!
perfect framing, delicate atmosphere
While I am not fond of winter, I do like this photo a lot. You make the chill seem almost inviting. I like the color shift from that winter blue sky to the white glow, and the stoic stance of the trees, the gentle fade of the background, and that solitary line of footprints in the foreground. It’s a perfect photo for the season.
What gorgeous tones. I love how when scanning this from left to right, the scene melts away into nothingness…
J’adore l’atmosphère de ce cliché, extraordinaire photo !
Bonne journée Martina 😉
