The lake is called Lago Maggiore and is in the Italian part of Switzerland. It’s a great place to go hiking with your camera.
You are right Martina, my poor Italian translates that as Beatiful Shore, and my goodness how apt could it be. I love the way that you present your frames with such a subtle, delicate range of hues that takes me straight back to my 35mm film days, processing in my makeshift darkroom. I used to keep my Kodak slide film and Agfa 35mm roll films that had expired date wise in the fridge as it often gave similar hues to your frames, which I always adored.
This is brochure quality, a welcome to the shoreline and with great depth of focus and detail. I travelled Switzerland and Italy, especialy the lakes in both territories extensively during the late eighties and mid to early nineties, Lake Lucerne still a personal favourite, and Lake Como, the quietest of the Italian lakes which both hold a special place in my heart. A lovely frame. Have a great weekend, it’s always a pleasure to visit and view your frames, you have such a creative eye.
